TERMS AND CONDITIONS

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS: Must be between 8 and 16 years old, unless approved by Produced With Purpose (contact the organization via email with concerns). Work on individual businesses must be done by the child. Parents are encouraged to support young entrepreneurs and must stay in attendance for the duration of the event. However, parents may not work at the booth nor interact with customers on behalf of the child (this includes taking payment). Business setups requiring electricity will not be allowed. Upon acceptance of your registration, please complete the Business Plan Template. You must complete it and return to us within four weeks of registering for the event.

PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIANS: As the parent or legal guardian of the participant of the Young Entrepreneurs Showcase (“Program”), a program by Produced With Purpose, Inc., you consent to the publication and use of your child’s name and/or likeness (“Likeness”) for the purpose of promotion, publicity, advertising, or other manner or media by Produced With Purpose or any other representative authorized to act on behalf of the afore-mentioned entity. Likeness shall include, but not be limited to, photographs, sound and/or video recordings, films, broadcasts, brochures, publications, reports, web pages, promotional materials or any other audio-visual, electronic, printed, tangible work in any media or format, now known or hereafter to become known, and/or reproductions of any of these. You agree that the actual material involved is and shall continue to be the property of Produced With Purpose, Inc. and that neither you, nor your child, shall have any right of review or approval regarding the use of your child’s name and/or Likeness in such material. You release and hold harmless, Produced With Purpose, Inc. along with their respective employees, agents, affiliates, sponsors, or other representatives from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of the use of your child’s name and/or Likeness, in accordance with the terms of this release. You understand and agree that neither you, nor my child, will be compensated in any way for the use of name and/or Likeness.

There is no real concern with having lots several similar business concepts in order to allow market forces to play out. If this number far exceeds our expectations, we will cap the number of substantially similar businesses.
